Join us at the Jazz Showcase for a tap jam led by our faculty, invited tap dancers, and the Eric Hochberg Trio. You will witness the preservers here, the groundbreakers of this dance. Their lives are tap. Re-introducing Christopher Broughton to Rhythm World as an alumni, attending the tap festival decades ago as student from Los Angeles California, and now known worldwide. Intergalactically known Alexandria “Brinae Ali” Bradley from Michigan speaks to our ancestors to create genius platforms of music as well as dance, accompanied by multi-instrumentalist and DJ Wendell Patrick. While hard bop New York City sounds from Christina Carminucci will be seen and heard from her dedicated feet playing jazz music, performing a duet with saxophonist Brent Griffin Jr.
