Ruth Page Center for the Arts has announced their annual “Ruth Page Legacy Gala,” on Saturday, May 20 at 5:30 p.m., at the Union League Club of Chicago, 65 W. Jackson Blvd. Hosted by Peter Sagal of NPR’s “Wait, Wait… Don’t Tell Me!,” this Legacy Gala is the center’s premiere fundraising event and supports the center’s educational, artistic, and outreach programs. The Ruth Page Center is a hub for creative exploration, connection, expression and greatness. During the Gala, the Ruth Page Award will be given to former principal dancer with the Houston Ballet and living dance legend, Lauren Anderson. The Gala will begin with a cocktail hour, followed by an evening of performances, live and silent auctions, a raffle, live music and the presentation of the Ruth Page Award, concluding with an invitation to the dance floor for guests.
The Cocktail Reception will take place at 5:30 - 7 p.m. in the Crystal Room of the Union League Club with the Gala beginning at 7 - 11 p.m. in the Lincoln Ballroom. Cocktail attire is required, and valet or self-parking will be available at the Federal Street entrance. Tickets are available for purchase for $350, and sponsorship tables are available for $5,000.
