Saturday Beginning/Intermediate Contemporary Modern Dance (Spring 2024)

Event Type
Event Description

This class, co-taught by Han Swartz and Max Pope, will build on the fundamentals of contemporary modern dance by encouraging skill development in choreography retention and stamina in an inviting and non-judgemental space. All levels are welcome, including beginners, but expect to take it up a notch from the Beginning Contemporary Modern Dance class held at 4:30pm on Tuesdays.

Classes are Saturdays from 10:30am - 11:30am, April 13 - June 8, 2024.

April 13 - May 11 will be taught by Han Swartz. May 18 - June 8 will be taught by Max Pope. This class may be subbed by another teacher.

We encourage pre-registration and early purchases of drop-in classes, so that if a class has to be cancelled for health or safety concerns, the teacher can let you know by email. If you are doing a last-minute drop-in class and want to be assured there is no unexpected last-minute cancellation, you can let the teacher know you plan to attend (,

If we have to cancel a class, we will schedule a make up class at the end of the series.
