Season 60: “Celebrate Giordano!”

The pinnacle of its 60th anniversary season, GDC presents its “Celebrate Giordano!” engagement. Each evening will feature a special welcome choreographed by former GDC dancer and Associate Director Michael Taylor and the world premiere of a collaborative work for 26 dancers choreographed by South Chicago Dance Theatre’s Kia Smith. Some of GDC’s most acclaimed and quintessentially works from their repertoire complete the program. Throughout the evening the audience will enjoy short video interludes highlighting this company’s rich legacy, tying the past to the present and illuminating GDC’s bright future.
