Event Description
The Joffrey’s spring double-bill features the Joffrey premiere of Serenade by dance pioneer George Balanchine, set to music by Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky, and Cathy Marston’s world premiere adaptation of John Steinbeck’s Of Mice and Men, a tender tale of friendship, perseverance, and sacrifice, with an original score by Academy Award®-nominated composer Thomas Newman.
The Joffrey requires that all audience members provide valid photo I.D. and proof of full vaccination and booster (when eligible) against COVID-19, as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) or World Health Organization (WHO), for Joffrey performances and events. Protective face coverings must also be worn at all times.
