Event Description
For anyone who has never tap danced before or would like a refresher (there is much value in slowing down and revisiting the basics). We will become acquainted with the way the whole body moves in order to create sounds through the feet. In addition to learning basic vocabulary (shuffles, flaps, etc.), we will take time to explore the way these steps can be put together to develop our pattern recognition and timing. Mostly, we will try to find a foundation that allows us to move naturally and tap into the musical parts of ourselves.
