For those who have learned basic vocabulary (shuffles, flaps, etc.). A variety of exercises will be used to improve execution, emphasizing the importance of movement repetition to build confidence in steps. Call and response techniques will be developed in order to learn short routines and sequences. It is the hope that students will be able to shut down the analytical parts of their brains and instead respond automatically following the seeing and hearing of a step/movement/pattern.
