Presented as part of the DOG/DAYS Festival of free performances leading up to the 40th Annual Chicago Jazz Festival, “Touch My Beloved’s Thought” by Onye Ozuzu (choreographer) and Greg Ward (composer) was inspired by Charles Mingus’ 1963 studio album The Black Saint and the Sinner Lady.
The remount of “Touch My Beloved’s Thought” is funded by the Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events.
