Unravel

Join Fever Dream Dance Collective for Unravel, an evening of contemporary dance featuring four world premieres by Chicago-based choreographers: Rahila Coats, Peyton Jones, Crimson Moeller, and Jessi Stegall. Created independently of each other, each narrative illuminates an overlooked corner of the human experience. Join us in unraveling: a mirror, an echo, a mess, a lie, a scream, a window, a memory, a dream.

Unravel showcases athletic, rigorous movement, storytelling, and world building. In Unravel you will witness vulnerability from the performers as they explore connections, memories, flawed histories, and revolutions.

One unique aspect of Fever Dream Dance Collective is our multidisciplinary approach. In Unravel you will see original costume design, sets pieces, projections, and a clay mess. Aesthetic continuity is a passion for Fever Dream co-founder and costume director Crimson Moeller. All the costumes in Unravel are either sourced or handmade by Crimson Moeller and the Collective. Through multiple artistic mediums, Fever Dream crafts engaging environments onstage and invites audiences to reflect and connect. We look forward to sharing the four unique creations with you.

Unravel Dates: April 10th at 7pm, April 11th at 8pm, April 12th at 8pm, April 13th at 2pm
Accessibility: The Thursday, April 10th, 7pm show is mask-required and strobe light free. During all shows, air purifiers, supplied by Clean Air Club, will run to reduce the number of airborne pathogens in the room. Check with the Greenhouse Theater for more accessibility information.
Sip n’ Shop: We invite you to arrive up to 45 minutes early to sip on Fever Dream inspired cocktails and shop Fever Dream Vintage, a pop-up shop for vintage and upcycled clothes and accessories. This will also be available during intermission and briefly after the show
Merchandise: Unique, one-of-a kind merch, handmade by the Collective, will be available for purchase at each show.
