"Mandjani" was originally a dance of celebration done after a rights of passage ceremony. Today, it is a social dance that's practiced in several West African countries referenced by different names.
This "social dance" can have many outlets for movement. There are traditional steps that are connected with this dance, but in teaching we use both, traditional and social. You will learn a series of movements that you can add to your dance repertoire or enjoy the experience in moving this way.
