Pilgrim's Progress

Ballet 5:8 School of the Arts, the only Pre-Professional classical ballet school in the Chicago south suburbs, presents Pilgrim's Progress, an original full-length ballet based on the well-known story by John Bunyan. This old-world story of Christian's journey through life in search of salvation is one of the most entertaining and insightful allegories of faith ever written. Pilgrim's Progress leads through many different towns and countrysides on a road that is filled with both monsters and unexpected blessings. Join us for an epic adventure told with a cast of over 100 dancers, handmade costumes, a dramatic classical score, and original choreography by Ballet 5:8 Artistic Director Julianna Slager. This powerful drama is a treat for the entire family!
