Event Description

Students will learn to articulate, define, and demonstrate following dance concepts: Positions of the Feet, Positions of the Arms, Positions and Actions of the Body, Roll Down, High Release/Arch, Contraction, Egyptian Arms, Prances, Tilts, Figure-8 Stag Positions, T Positions, Coccyx Balance Studies, and Spotting. This class provides a combination of Horton, Limon and Graham-based Modern techniques, for all levels.  The focus in this class is find the root of the movement, to trust technique and give into weight and momentum, and find the seamless transitions and pathways of movement while balancing the physical and intellectual work of a dancer.
