FMC will return to the Englewood neighborhood for our fourth Summer Dance Camp and will launch a new camp in Avondale at Carl von Linne Elementary School. We anticipate that the combined camps will host 225 young dancers!
Summer Dance Camp includes daily instruction in Ballet, Modern, Hip Hop, African and Latin dance, as well as activities related to Social Emotional Learning. Students take weekly field trips to exciting cultural destinations in and around Chicago, including the Shedd Aquarium, the Field Museum, Navy Pier, Millennium Park, and Raging Waves Waterpark.
Interviews for Summer Dance Camp will be held in April and May at both camp locations. All students interested in participating should interview for a spot at their preferred location.
