SEASON 7 AUDITIONS - YOUTH COMPANY
WHEN: MONDAY, OCTOBER 21 @5PM
WHERE: 3317 WEST IRVING PARK RD
WHAT: New this season is Lawson Dance Theatre’s Youth Company. The Youth company is comprised of young adults, ages 11-18. Sign in for auditions begins at 4:30pm. Auditions will begin promptly at 5pm and will consist of ballet class 5-6, pointe 6-6:30, and choreography 6:30-7.
The Youth Company will run October 2019 through end of April 2020 and rehearse on Mondays and Wednesdays 4:30-7pm. This is a tuition based company with fees going towards training, masterclasses, and multiple performance opportunities. The Youth Company represents the pre-professional training division of Tiffany Lawson Dance. Students train extensively in ballet, pointe, modern, and contemporary and are exposed to training experts from around the world. Students also gain professional training by studying directly with the professional company and choreographers from around the nation. They also gain exposure by participating is multiple public performances throughout the Chicagoland area.
