The Winning Works Choreographic Competition was created to recognize talented and emerging ALAANA choreographers and to provide them with a platform to showcase their original and innovative work.
The 2020 winners of the annual Winning Works choreographic competition reimagine their works for the virtual stage on the Joffrey Studio Company and Academy Trainees; Chanel DaSilva, Tsai Hsi Hung, Pablo Sanchez, and Durante Verzola.
The world premiere works will stream at Joffrey.org/WinningWorks at 7:00 PM CST on the following dates:
Premiereing April 8: Durante Verzola's Ballet de Cour
Premiereing April 9: Pablo Sanchez's ¡VIVA!
Chanel DaSilva's B O R D E R S Tsai Hsi Hung's Brushstroke are now available for viewing.
All Winning Works performances are free and registration is not required.
