Behind the Process
Emerging from a year-long creation process, the film features movement from fourteen Chicago choreographers edited and reinterpreted by the artists of COMMON conservatory. CHRONICLE inverts the standard practice of creating dance to give power back to the performers. COMMON's Artistic Director Terence Marling led this production out of his desire to advocate for artists to have more authority inside their work environments and creative processes.
To share CHRONICLE with the widest audience possible, tickets are donation-based. Streaming will begin on June 5, 2021. All proceeds of the ticket sales will be directed to the artists of COMMON conservatory.
