Join Red Clay Dance Company and its’ Board of Directors as we shapeshift into a re-imagined future for our organization. On June 16th, we will Paint the World Red in our annual fundraiser…now in the virtual realm!
This “glocal” event brings our village from around the world together for one night to celebrate with us as we activate our new home, share never before seen footage of our touring company, and announce our new "Glocal Arts Initiative"!
We are excited to announce that this year's event will be hosted by Queen Sugar star and Chicago native, actor Timon Kyle Durrett and our inaugural Culture Creator Award will be presented to Michelle T. Boone, the newly appointed President of the Poetry Foundation. This newly established award is to honor an individual that is not only a phenomenal arts advocate, but a true shapeshifter and creator of culture!
Kick off your 2021 Juneteenth celebration with us at Paint the World Red!
