Event Description
Jessica Deahr leads in the Chicago dance community as Artistic Director of Chicago Dance Crash. Acknowledged as among the “Best in Dance” by the Chicago Tribune and as a “Top Artist” by Dance Magazine, her style is bright, versatile and inventive. This class, called Crash Contemporary, will be focused on momentum and functionality with an emphasis on transitioning into and out of the floor. In addition, students will have the opportunity to learn movement from Chicago Dance Crash’s new repertoire for their upcoming 20th Anniversary production “Booms Day.”
Ms. Deahr appeared with Chicago Dance Crash in HCCDF 2012.
