Event Description
Bridge Dance Festival Curator Yoshinojo Fujima (aka Rika Lin) invites dancers who manifest their identity, aesthetics, and expression with a connection to their Asian heritage. This year, a return to live performance as Mari Fujihara with partner Kiyotaka Suzuki from Tokyo, Japan present her work “Crimson”, and Chicago based Mandala Arts resident artist, Shalaka Kulkarni, presents the next iteration of her work “Nyra’s dream”. The 2022 Bridge Dance Festival artists will also present a work together; embodying the spirit of the festival; channeling the collaborative energies required of everyone as we journey through the pandemic with the talents of audio technician Takashi Shallow.
