Hedwig Dances seeks professional dancers for its 2023-24 season. All who audition need to have a strong background in modern, ballet, partnering and somatic techniques, as well as improvisation experience.
Hedwig Dances integrates a strong visual art and design aesthetic into its stage work, including projections, set design and objects.

Our season includes annual performances in Chicago and potential touring. Rehearsals begin in mid-August, 2023. Dancers must be available15-20 hours per week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays during the day for rehearsals. Employees of Hedwig Dances are required to be vaccinated for Covid 19 and follow all vaccination protocols as promulgated by official agencies.
