Background:

Winifred Haun & Dancers is an artist-led dance organization that focuses on the creation of original, innovative dance works, both in, for, and about local, national, and international communities. Persistent Spring continues the Company’s mission to produce dance events that illuminate and elevate diverse artists, audiences, and global themes. This small, but scrappy dance company has been producing new works and dance events for over 25 seasons, and continues to expand its programming and community support by continuing to present relevant and timely dance projects.

Chicago Movement Collective was founded in September 2020 to provide a home for the Chicago dance community’s incredible teaching artists, musicians, and soon-to-be professional performing artists. The Chicago dance community is famously supportive and this collective is a reflection of that love and care. No matter one’s goals in dance, commercial, concert, or otherwise, CMC is committed to helping the entire Chicago dance community get there.
