Contemporary Improvisation and Phrase Work

Class will consist of guided movement improvisation that explores physical, visual, and emotional themes. This will build into structured material that could investigate bold shifts of weight, find luscious spirals and redirections, and challenge rhythmic continuity. Class will prioritize play, curiosity, and open-mindedness while de-emphasizing judgement of individual choices that emerge. Open to all levels and abilities! Live music!
