Alliance Dance Company is a not-for-profit company that resides in Rogers Park. The company was created in 2002 by artistic director Jennifer Gage and offers new opportunities to dancers, emerging artists and choreographers, as well as other artistic affiliates. Our dance styles include jazz, ballet, modern and hip-hop. The company has performed at a number of theaters, festivals and schools throughout the Chicago area and the Midwest.
Alliance also has a school outreach program which utilizes pieces from the company’s repertoire to engage and entertain students with age-appropriate music, dancing, and costumes. We explore differences in ballet, jazz, and modern styles of dance. Performances in schools range from Pre-K to 12, year-round, and include performance with participation demonstration and Q & A. We also offer Master Classes, residencies, and workshops.
