Co-Artistic Directors Eddy Ocampo and Brandon DiCriscio take risks in pushing the bounds of contemporary dance.  Rather than creating work in which the design meets the needs of the choreography, Ocampo and DiCriscio create a rich multi-layered environment that contextualizes and steers the direction of the dance. By fully engaging the architecture, aesthetic and capacity of the theatre, a completely realized environment is born.  LEVELdance takes great pride in presenting works in non traditional dance environments, as well as the proscenium stage.  Having performed in lobbies, hallways, warehouses, and fire escapes LEVELdance’s critically acclaimed show NOCTURNE catapults the audience to another world with a unique vantage point as audience members move around, up close to the performers, becoming part of the work, environment and set.
