This fall, on Tuesday, September 19, See Chicago Dance invites you to our annual Awards Presentation & Community Celebration.

 

New this year, we are expanding the fun with an exciting and robust raffle. We have 12 amazing packages for dancers and dance lovers, sports fans and foodies.

Every raffle ticket you buy supports our work!

 

Cost: $20 for 1 ticket; $50 for 3 tickets: $100 for 6 tickets.

Tickets are only available for purchase at the event. (Read more about it below.) If you are unable to attend, it’s OK to send money with a friend and have them buy tickets for you. But someone must be on-site to claim your prize.

More about the Celebration:

In 2023, we are delighted to present the See Chicago Dance Legacy Award to Homer Hans Bryant, founder and artistic director of the Chicago Multi-cultural Dance Center & Hiplet Ballerinas. We are equally excited to honor Ginger Farley with this year’s Distinguished Service to the Dance Field Award in recognition of her incredible career as a dancer, sought-after teacher, dancemaker, and long-time visionary behind the Chicago Dancemakers Forum. We will be returning to Venue West with a cocktail reception, seated dinner with awards presentation and, of course, performances. Helen Lee/Momentum Sensorium present a powerful dance duet with musicians on viola and keyboards, embodying the kind of innovative dancemaking Ginger Farley has championed for decades. And we’ll close the evening with a wonderful finale from Homer Bryant’s brainchild, the fabulous and virtuosic Hiplet Ballerinas.
