Through music, song and dance audiences will be taken on a journey through the struggles and dreams of a people fighting for liberty, freedom, dignity and above all, family. It is the story of people moving across oceans to America, Australia, Canada and New Zealand to find a better place in hopes of trading famine and persecution for freedom and prosperity. A lively mix of pulsating traditional Irish dance rhythms, jaw-dropping footwork and legendary Irish songs, “Oceans of Hope” captures the very essence of Irish history.
