Save Thursday August 12 at 1:00 pm for a short site-specific dance improv performance by Perceptual Motion, Inc. dance company. PMI dancers will look at, listen to, feel, and think about the healing garden and spontaneously create movement, bringing the space vibrantly alive. Viewers will experience the healing garden in a fresh, multifaceted way, discover treasures never-before noticed and drink in the shear beauty of the garden. This is the first part of a series of site-specific explorations.
It will be in The Healing Garden at Swedish Covenant Hopsital/part of Northshore, 5140 N. California Ave.Chicago, IL 60625. Go through the Galter Medical Pavilion past the coffee shop to the outdoor walkway behind the Galter Medical Pavilion and the Galter LifeCenter.
Perceptual Motion, Inc.’s founder and artistic director is award-winning choreographer Lin Shook. Lin teaches Tai Chi, chair yoga and meditation at Galter LifeCenter,and relaxation class for cancer patients and wellness classes for staff at Swedish Covenant Hospital/part of Northshore.
