Embodying the Black Experience Through Performance- Anthony Sims

This evening performance is dedicated to experiencing, upholding, and digesting the embodiment of Blackness through interdisciplinary time-based work. Anthony Sims, an emerging artist from North Carolina, has created several works on the turning points of Black American history. He will be restaging existing works and presenting his latest creation. Embodying the Black Experience Through Performance expands beyond Black American history and its relevance to the Elizabethan and Jacobean Era.
