Kristina Fluty leads this intermediate/advanced modern dance class that improves dynamic alignment, increases spatial awareness, and patterns more efficient everyday movement through fun dance phrases. Class will generally begin with developmental movement on the floor and end with traveling through space.

For this class series, your registration fee is a donation to Synapse Arts, a 501c3 nonprofit organization.
Here is how to register for the session (or pay per class) in advance:
$35 for the four week session - select $35 and “one time” donation
$10 per class - select $10 and “one time” or “weekly” and select your end date
Then select Modern Dance Class Series from the dropdown menu.
Payments will also be accepted at each class by cash or credit card, and drop-ins are welcome. The $35 rate for four classes will be available until midnight on October 3rd. Any additional donations will go towards the costs of presenting a class series, including marketing, staff hours, and classroom equipment.
Location
You will find us within the main building of Loyola Park at 1230 W. Greenleaf Ave in the Rogers Park neighborhood of Chicago.
Loyola Park is two blocks east of the Morse Red Line stop, and there is an inexpensive parking lot onsite. Our studio is called the Sky Room on the second floor, which is accessible by stairs or elevator.
Synapse is an Arts Partner in Residence with the Chicago Park District. We present programs and classes at both Loyola Park and Berger Park Cultural Center.
