Event Description
To Touch the Earth is an evening of modern dance exploring climate change and our relationship to the natural world through dance and choreographed by award-winning choreographer Lin Shook. See dancers aged 23 to 74 create powerful landscapes of movement and imagery. Original music is by Fred Simon.
According to Aldous Huxley, Consciousness is only possible through change; change is only possible through movement. Seven dances are on the program, each reflecting a different aspect of the climate crisis. A brief audience interactive talk by a climate expert follows the performance.
