Join us for an immersive, transformative experience led by renowned dancer and choreographer Mari Osanai. This workshop is for anyone seeking a deeper connection with their body through movement. Based on Noguchi Taiso—a body-changing practice similar to Tai Chi or Qi Gong—participants will engage in a moving meditation to enhance subtle body awareness and fluidity in all forms of movement.
Mari Osanai’s technique integrates her background in Tai Chi, western dance, traditional folk dance from Aomori, Japan, and her profound understanding of the connection between mind, body, and gravity.
Whether you attend one, two, or all three days, this workshop is designed to awaken your body’s innate energy and flow, exploring how imagery, such as washing the body with water or air, can unlock new movement possibilities.

About Mari Osanai:
Mari Osanai is an independent dancer, choreographer, and Noguchi Taiso teacher based in Aomori, Japan. She has performed and led workshops internationally, including in the United States, Canada, and Greece. Her movement approach emphasizes a heightened awareness of gravity and fluid dynamics, drawing from the body's connection to the earth’s core.
