DEFIBRILLATOR (a.k.a dfbrL8r or dfb) is a non-profit 501c3 arts organization that contextualizes performance within the visual art realm. dfb provides a gathering place to conceive, present and promote performance art and other ephemeral forms of expression.
'our end-goal is to foster a stimulating artistic atmosphere to attract and retain high caliber artists in CHICAGO. our interests are global. a destination for international artists, we provide them with an American venue while exposing CHICAGO artists and audiences to work from other parts of the world. we aim to confront the boundaries and expectations that people have regarding ephemeral or enigmatic forms of expression.'
