Overview
Dmitri Peskov will introduce his Dmitri Peskov Dance Theatre troupe with a world premiere, the dance suite "Of Fleeting Things", June 11, 12 and 13 at Links Hall in Chicago.
Peskov's Of Fleeting Things is a two-character story related in short vignettes. One character, played by dancer Paul Christiano, is anxious and insecure; the other, played by Peskov, is meditative and spiritual.
Peskov, a former member of Paul Sanasardo Dance Company, was a principal dancer in this year's production of Hector Berlioz's "The Damnation of Faust" by Lyric Opera of Chicago. He is also a published poet.
