Duncan Dance Chicago

Duncan Dance Chicago is Chicago's singular dance organization designed with the authentic legacy of Isadora Duncan's Dance-Art, offering classes, workshops, and performances in the technique of Isadora Duncan, the mother of modern dance. All dance-lovers are welcome to experience learning in a fun, non-competitive, small-group class setting.

Classical Modern/Isadora Duncan Technique   (Adult Open Level)                                                                          

Saturdays  2:00-3:30 pm

Celebrate the art of classical modern in the technique of Isadora Duncan, mother of modern dance.This open level class presents a contemporary approach to Isadora's style including floor, barre, locomotive movements and improvisation. Develop strength, fluidity and freedom in movement your body has forgotten.

Students will learn original & re-staged choreography of Isadora Duncan. Students
are required to take Classical Modern/Duncan Technique class weekly.
