About two years ago, CHRP moved its education center/arts incubator - the American Rhythm Center - to Calumet Heights and reopened as the MAYFAIR ARTS CENTER (MAC). CHRP and its Core Resident Partners - including Deeply Rooted Dance Theater, Black Girls Dance, Emma Mae's SunRays Studios, Najwa Dance Corps, Russell Talbert Dance Studio and Joel Hall Dancers & Center - are offering classes for children, teens, adults, and elders as well as neighborhood public schools. The MAC also provides business development services and subsidized space for classes, rehearsals, informal performances and special events for small to medium-sized nonprofit arts organizations and independent artists. For more information about classes, space rental, or how to become a partner, please contact us at info@chicagotap.org.
