Signal Ensemble Theatre uses a deeply collaborative method to produce work never-before-seen in Chicago.
More than anything else, it is our ensemble that makes us who we are. Comprised of actors, designers, writers, directors and stage managers, we have created an environment that encourages both personal risk and unwavering collaboration. While it is our ensemble that defines us, it is our audience that propels us forward. As a theatre company in the Chicago Storefront scene, we have the rare opportunity to have a conversation with one of the greatest and most diverse audiences in the world. It is this alchemy of ensemble and audience that makes Signal Ensemble Theatre what it is today.
